I found this picture on Wet Canvas. I just had to paint those colorful swirling skirts. And I did just that. Then I had to figure out where the head, shoes, etc. went. When I was taking art lessons I was always reminded to draw through. The background is light around her head to disguise any bad contours of her face. I find faces this small difficult to paint, but I think the features are in their right places. This is oil on stretched canvas, 16 x 20.
